Meet Casey and the Family
Casey has proudly served the Beloit community for over 12 years as a paramedic firefighter. Beyond his dedication to service, he has a passion for rehabbing and remodeling homes and businesses, which grew into owning multiple properties and rental ventures. His first step into hospitality came with Casey’s Bell Ray Tavern, a beloved small-town bar cherished for its charm and memories. Seeing an opportunity to bring a new restaurant and bar to downtown Beloit after CheezHead Brewing closed, Casey created the Downtown Den Tavern & Pizza—a place for hot pizza by the slice, craft beer, and cocktails. With the support of his wife Kendra, their two beautiful daughters, close friends, and extended family, Casey is dedicated to bringing great food and joy to the heart of the city.

Chelsea, the bubbly smiling face you may recognize from Casey’s Bell Ray Tavern, now brings her expertise to the Downtown Den as manager. With years of experience behind the bar, she knows how to keep the drinks flowing and the atmosphere lively. Chelsea combines her Bell Ray experience with a family history in the restaurant industry to ensure every guest enjoys exceptional service, great cocktails, and a welcoming vibe.
